Last Saturday we were raising, for the very first time, the National Historic Ships pennant that celebrates LV50 being named their Virtual Flagship 2021. Here’s a short video of the event.
We were awarded this pennant in recognition of our newly developed online resources for the ship. This resource was developed to allow people to continue visiting the vessel during the Covid pandemic.
As well as a virtual tour of the vessel, it includes Key Stage 1 and 2 learning materials aimed at local schools and a strong social media engagement.
